Our Vision Statement
'We constantly strive to be a happy, welcoming learning community where everyone feels valued and special.'
In order to ensure that our vision is realised, we aim to:
- Create a happy, enjoyable learning experience for our children, where every child feels special, by ensuring that the children's best interests are at the heart of everything we do; and positively valuing children and staff as unique individuals, celebrating and valuing their individuality and skills; creating and maintaining a stimulating learning environment.
- Provide a broad and balanced, but flexible curriculum which meets the needs of our children by providing high quality, enthusiastic teaching which inspires and challenges children and leads to high quality learning, enabling every child to fulfill their potential; and ensuring that our practice in school is constantly evolving and improving, and the staff receive training necessary for this to happen.
- Maintain our caring, supportive ethos which reflects our Christian basis as a Church School, by ensuring that everything we do is underpinned by Christian values; working as a committed, caring team in a family atmosphere; valuing our links with parents, the church and the wider community; ensuring that children and adults respect each other, the environment and the wider world; ensuring that standards of behaviour are high, and that children and adults are polite, courteous and caring to each other; and celebrating the rural nature of our school and the benefits that this rurality brings.
